New Resolution Geophysics (NRG) is an airborne geophysical contractor specialising in airborne gravity and helicopter borne magnetic and radiometric surveys. The company was formed in 2005 with the objective of providing a technically superior, efficient and professional service.

Focussing on the African and Australasian markets, the company has completed over 2,500,000 line km's of survey in over 41 countries. The group owns and operates a fleet of 10 aircraft. With each technology offered, NRG aim to provide an industry leading product:

XPLORER™ GRADIENT MAGNETIC SYSTEM

Using a composite fixed-boom horizontal gradient sensor configuration and powerful ASTAR350 series helicopters, this system delivers high resolution magnetic data. The XPlorer™ systems have been used extensively where detailed mapping and target generation are required such as diamond, gold and copper projects as well as in remote and rugged areas where the helicopter platform offers significant benefits. >>>

RADIOMETRICS

NRG employ the latest generation Radiation Solutions spectrometers. As signal-noise is greatly improved by flying lower it has been possible to further increase the data sample rates offering resolution improvements of 3x compared with conventional fixed-wing systems. With the exceptional radiometric resolution offered it's not surprising that 30% of our survey market relates to uranium exploration. >>>

XTRACT™ AIRBORNE GRAVITY

Relying on industry leading GT-1A airborne gravimeters, NRG have further improved results by employing a dedicated Pilatus PC6 as an aircraft platform. Renowned for its ability to fly slowly, the PC6 provides an ideal platform for improving gravity data resolution. Airborne gravity provides a rapid means of identifying and modelling remote petroleum basins. >>>

XPRESS™ SYSTEM

This new generation towed-bird system is designed to be highly portable to tackle small remote projects where aircraft mobilisation and permitting would normally be prohibitively expensive. >>>
